C.U.B.A Foundation

The Check Up Basketball Association was founded in 2021 by CEO Rich Brown. We believe that basketball is the number one global sport and it is the most accessible sport and every child from the day they start playing basketball will play one on one. Almost every player in fact plays one vs. one before they ever play five vs. five. Many times coaches frown upon one on one players in a team setting preaching the we before me method. Here at the C.U.B.A we are looking to highlight and glorify the individual art of being able to score and defend at a high level. One on one and five on five are two completely different games, both should be able to be showcased on a high level. Most of the memorable highlights are one on one highlights and we are looking to showcase the most talented one on one players in the world. Our ultimate vision is to one day have one vs. one basketball represented in the olympics with each country having their own team full of the greatest one on one players in the world. We believe the Check Up Basketball Association will be the beginning of a historic one on one basketball movement all around the world.
